Rest In Peace my Beautiful Baby Girl xxx
TJ was my beloved wee girl (whippet cross) she was my best friend and never left my side. She was only 5 weeks old when I got her and I knew as soon as I saw her little face that she was the one I wanted from the litter and from that day she remained my beautiful girl until she was very tragically taken from me in August 2007 due to a road traffic accident,I wish I had never let you off your lead that day and I will always blame myself for what happened, in a split second you run straight onto the road, I saw it all happen in slow motion, I screamed as I heard the thud of the car hitting you and saw you flung onto the grass verge, I was in tears as I lay beside you and cradled your head, you looked at me for a moment and gave your last breath, I was at least able to hold you and be with you when you passed. I still have nightmares reliving every second TJ. I am so very sorry, please forgive me baby, I think about you all the time and although we got another puppy she will never replace you but in your memory we called her 'Tiggy' (my pet name for you) I hope you approve. She is very loving and has a similar nature to you, I am sure there are times when I think you are her! I still have your two favourite cuddly toys, your babies, although one of them is a little bedraggled because you used to toss it around so much, they are both lying beside me at my bed, the way you left them! I will NEVER part with them. How I wish I could feel your wet nose on my face and your loving kisses, cuddle up to you just one more time and tell you how much I love you. Till we meet again my beautiful faithful friend you will always remain in my heart, I miss you soooo much so does daddy, sleep tight Tiggy (our pet name for you) ALL MY LOVE FOREVER...MUMMY xxxxxxxxx I MISS YOU SO MUCH xxxxx
****Look out for my darling little FREEWAY, he's a gorgeous Schnauzer sadly went to rainbow bridge in 1999 also my darling girl KASHA, she is a beautiful Rottie sadly put to sleep in 1997 (brain tumour)... Freeway and Kasha were best friends so they are together again at last...there is also wee COISTY,(you will remember him!...beautiful little cockatiel)...SAUZEE,(another gorgeous little cockatiel)...and all my other little furry friends who join you now, you will have lots of fun with them all baby girl, they too, like you, are so very precious to me and will never, ever be forgotten**** Love you all....MUMMY xxxxxxxxxx

The day they laid you down to sleep
I prayed to the Lord; your soul he'll keep
Until the appointed day and time
when together we'll meet; and all will be fine
With all God's; creatures great and small
go run and play now, have a ball
No more aches; and no more pain
just bright sunshine; no more rain
Rest in peace; for now best friend
cradled in God's arms; to the end
Dream of that special; day and time
when we'll meet at the Bridge; one last time
Although we'll be separated; for a long time
we'll be together then; and all will be fine
We'll cross Rainbow Bridge; side by side
with a soft warm feeling; deep down inside
Once again then; all will be fine
we're together forever; till the end of time...XXX

being to timelessness as it's to time α¦♥α¦
being to timelessness as it's to time,
love did no more begin than love will end:
where nothing is to breathe to stroll to swim
love is the air the ocean and the land

love is the voice under all silences,
the hope which has no opposite in fear:
the strength so strong mere force is feebleness:
the truth more first than sun, more last than star.

ββ‘β The Wings That Fly Us Home ββ‘β
There are many ways of being in this circle we call life
A wise man seeks an answer, burns his candle through the night
Is a jewel just a pebble that found a way to shine
Is a hero’s blood more righteous than a hobo’s sip of wine
β
Did I speak to you one morning on some distant world away
Did you save me from an arrow, did you lay me in a grave
Were we brothers on a journey, did you teach me how to run
Were we broken by the waters, did I lie you in the sun
β
I dreamed you were a prophet in a meadow
I dreamed I was a mountain in the wind
I dreamed you knelt and touched me with a flower
I awoke with this: a flower in my hand
β
I know that love is seeing all the infinite in one
In the brotherhood of creatures; who the father, who the son
The vision of your goodness will sustain me through the cold
Take my hand now to remember when you find yourself alone
β
And the spirit fills the darkness of the heavens
It fills the endless yearning of the soul
It lives within a star too far to dream of
It lives within each part and is the whole
β
It’s the fire and the wings that fly us home
Fly us home, fly us home.
~ Words by Joe Henry, music by John Denver

*β«* Christmas Secrets *β«*
Underneath a winter sky
a distant train sings out the miles.
So I imagine, it may be,
that every mile brings you to me.
A promise made may still come true,
so I am waiting here for you,
if you don’t come, what will I do?
Who shall I tell my secrets to?
*βΎ*
Christmas bells ring out their chimes,
I hear them echo through the miles,
and moonlight shines upon the road
and trembles on the fallen snow
I look into the midnight blue
So many stars I never knew.
If you don’t come, what will I do?
Who shall I tell my secrets to?
*βΎ*
I look into the midnight blue
So many stars I never knew.
If you don’t come, what will I do?
Who shall I tell my secrets to?

β The Snow Flake β
"Now, if I fall, will it be my lot
To be cast in some low and lonely spot
To melt, and to sink unseen or forgot?
And then will my course be ended?"
'Twas thus a feathery snow-flake said,
As down through the measureless space it strayed,
Or, as half by dalliance, half afraid,
It seemed in mid air suspended.
"Oh, no," said the earth, "thou shalt not lie,
Neglected and lone, on my lap to die,
Thou pure and delicate child of the sky;
For thou wilt be safe in my keeping;
But, then, I must give thee a lovelier form;
Thou'lt not be a part of the wintry storm,
But revive when the sunbeams are yellow and waffle
And the flowers from my bosom are peeping".
"And then thou shalt have thy choice to be
Restored in the lily that decks the lea,
In the jessamine bloom, the anemone,
Or aught of thy spotless whiteness;
To melt, and be cast in a glittering bead,
With the pearls that the night scatters over the moon
In the cup where the bee and the fire-fly feed,
Regaining thy dazzling brightness; - -"
"To wake, and be raised from thy transient sleep,
When Viola's mild blue eye shall weep,
In a tremulous tear, or a diamond leap
In a drop from the unlocked fountain;
Or, leaving the valley, the meadow and heath,
The streamlet, the flowers, and all beneath,
To go and be wove in the silvery wreath
Encircling the brow of the mountain."
"Or wouldst thou return to a home in the skies,
To shine in the iris I'll let thee arise,
And appear in the many and glorious dyes
A pencil of sunbeams is blending.
But true, fair thing, as my name is earth,
I'll give thee a new and vernal birth,
When thou shalt recover thy primal worth,
And never regret descending!"
"Then I will drop," said the trusting flake;
"But bear it in mind that the choice I make
Is not in the flowers nor the dew to awake,
Nor the mist that shall pass with the morning;
For, things of thyself; they expire with thee;
But those that are lent from on high, like me,
They rise, and will live, from thy dust set free,
To the regions above returning."
"And if true to thy word, and just thou art,
Like the spirit that dwells in the holiest heart,
Unsullied by thee, thou wilt let me depart,
And return to my native heaven;
For I would be placed in the beautiful bow,
From time to time, in thy sight to glow,
So thou may'st remember the flake of snow
By the promise that God hath given."

β Gone to the Unseen β
At last you have departed and gone to the Unseen.
What marvelous route did you take from this world?
Beating your wings and feathers,
you broke free from this cage.
Rising up to the sky
you attained the world of the soul.
You were a prized falcon trapped by an Old Woman.
Then you heard the drummer's call
and flew beyond space and time.
β....β....β
As a lovesick nightingale, you flew among the owls.
Then came the scent of the rosegarden
and you flew off to meet the Rose.
The wine of this fleeting world
caused your head to ache.
Finally you joined the tavern of Eternity.
Like an arrow, you sped from the bow
and went straight for the bull's eye of bliss.
β....β....β
This phantom world gave you false signs
But you turned from the illusion
and journeyed to the land of truth.
You are now the Sun -
what need have you for a crown?
You have vanished from this world -
what need have you to tie your robe?
β....β....β
I've heard that you can barely see your soul.
But why look at all? -
yours is now the Soul of Souls!
O heart, what a wonderful bird you are.
Seeking divine heights,
Flapping your wings,
you smashed the pointed spears of your enemy.
β....β....β
The flowers flee from Autumn, but not you -
You are the fearless rose
that grows amidst the freezing wind.
Pouring down like the rain of heaven
you fell upon the rooftop of this world.
Then you ran in every direction
and escaped through the drain spout…
β....β....β
Now the words are over
and the pain they bring is gone.
Now you have gone to rest
in the arms of the Beloved.
~ Rumi

• β€ • Sorrow • β€ •
O thorn-crowned Sorrow, pitiless and stern,
I sit alone with broken heart, my head
Low bowed, keeping long vigil with my dead.
My soul, unutterably sad, doth yearn
Beyond relief in tears—they only burn
My aching eyelids to fall back unshed
Upon the throbbing brain like molten lead,
Making it frenzied. Shall I ever learn
To face you fearlessly, as by my door
You stand with haunting eyes and death-damp hair,
Through the night-watches, whispering solemnly,
“Behold, I am thy guest forevermore.”
It chills my soul to know that you are there.
Great God, have mercy on my misery!

♥ If We Never Meet Again ♥
(I will meet you on that beautiful shore)
Soon we'll come to the end of life's journey
And perhaps never meet anymore
Till we gather in heaven's bright city
Far away on that beautiful shore
If we never meet again this side of heaven
As we struggle through this world and its strife
There's another meeting place somewhere in heaven
By the side of the river of life
Where the charming roses bloom forever
And where separations come no more
If we never meet again this side of heaven
I will meet you on that beautiful shore
Oh they say we shall meet by the river
Where no storm clouds ever darken the sky
And they say we'll be happy in heaven
In the wonderful sweet by and by
If we never meet again...
(If we never meet again this side of heaven)
I will meet you on that beautiful shore
(Beautiful beautiful shore)

Mourn, O rejoicing heart!
The hours are flying;
Each one some treasure takes,
Each one some blossom breaks,
And leaves it dying;
The chill, dark night draws near -
The sun will soon depart,
And leave thee sighing,
Then mourn, rejoicing heart!
The hours are flying!

Rejoice, O grieving heart!
The hours fly fast -
With each some sorrow dies,
With each some shadow flies;
Until at last
The red dawn in the east
Bids weary night depart,
And pain is past;
Rejoice then, grieving heart!
The hours fly fast!

Perplexed Music…β
Experience, like a pale musician, holds
A dulcimer of patience in his hand,
Whence harmonies, we cannot understand,
Of God; will in his worlds, the strain unfolds
In sad-perplexed minors: deathly colds
Fall on us while we hear, and countermand
Our sanguine heart back from the fancy-land
With nightingales in visionary wolds.
We murmur ‘Where is any certain tune
Or measured music in such notes as these?’
But angels, leaning from the golden seat,
Are not so minded their fine ear hath won
The issue of completed cadences,
And, smiling down the stars, they whisper—SWEET.
~ Elizabeth Barrett Browning
